introduction of hkjc and conghua training center<br>香港馬會及從化馬匹訓練中心簡介<br> <br>the hong kong jockey club (hereinafter referred to as the hkjc or the club), founded in 1884, with over a century of brilliant history and tradition, has won the respect of all walks of life and becomes one of hong kong's most respected organisations in hong kong. the hkjc is the sole operator authorised by the government to provide horse racing, legal football betting and mark six lottery entertainment in hong kong. the hkjc is also one of the world’s leading horse racing and sports entertainment operation organisations and hong kong’s premier charity and community benefactor. in 2014/15, the total approved charitable donations of the hong kong jockey club charities trust were over hk$3,871 million. the hkjc has been honored with a china charity award from the ministry of civil affairs of the people's republic of china to recognise its outstanding charity work in mainland china.
